Cursor

Cursor talks to the hosted server over streamable HTTP and signs in with OAuth. langweave supports dynamic client registration, so Cursor registers itself: the auth block Cursor’s docs describe for static client credentials is not needed.

  1. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json to have the server in every project, or .cursor/mcp.json at the root of one project, and add langweave under mcpServers:

    {
    "mcpServers": {
    "langweave": {
    "url": "https://api.langweave.tech/mcp"
    }
    }
    }

    If the file already lists other servers, add only the langweave entry beside them.

  2. When Cursor opens lexmem’s sign-in page, sign in with the account you created and allow access.

  3. Open Customize in the sidebar and check that langweave is enabled.

Ask for something ordinary in the chat. It should call get_language_profile first and log_exposures after a reply that wove something. Cursor asks for approval before it uses an MCP tool, by default; allowing log_exposures is what makes your vocabulary grow. If the tools say you have not chosen a language, choose one in the app first.
